Team Self-Assessment on the Use of Data

Before looking at data, school improvement leadership teams may want to spend some time discussing individual members' responses to the following considerations:

1. How does our school establish improvement goals each year? Describe the process. What are its strengths? Weaknesses?

2. What do you hope to accomplish by using the School Improvement Planning Tool? What do you hope our team accomplishes?

3. With what assumptions are we entering the process? What are some predictions we are making? What are some questions we are asking (or "hope to answer")?

4. Describe your comfort level in analyzing various forms of information and data.
